Do you know what happens when you die? Are you happy the Lord is going to take you direct to heaven when you die? After all you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior and that promise is guaranteed upon death. Oh really? Are you sure thats what your Bible teaches . They’ve got you fool friend and you need to do some extra homework in proving what you’ve been told. No thats not where anyone is going when they die. Sorry but thats a Scriptural fact and we are going to see straight from Scripture the plain truth about this false teaching.
Well what about the thieve on the cross you might ask who asked Jesus to take him with Him to paradise? Did he not go with Jesus to heaven when he died? Thats what Jesus said isn’t it? Are you sure you read it correctly? Are you sure he didn’t go to hell or purgatory? Why he wasn’t even baptized, but then again is this a requirement. Or is it?.
Jesus said ” I tell you today you will be with me in paradise”.
But please read that again. Did you noticed something I left out? Of course not if you haven’t read your Bible closely. Why I didn’t put any coma anywhere in this sentence! Lets turn to this scripture in your Bible.
(Luke 23:43) The KJV renders it like this “And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, today you will be with me in paradise”.
In another translation it reads, “Truly, I say to you today, you shall be with Me in Paradise”.
Walla! Do you have eyes to see and ears to hear? At this point may I suggest downloading E-Sword and you can have more than one translation at your fingertips.
Do you see the difference yet? It all depends on where you put the coma! In the original there was no coma! The coma was inserted incorrectly. Remarkable how a miniscule coma can be used to create deception. Jesus did promise the thieve paradise eventually but in his own appointed time. You can either believe the Scriptures or cling on to your pastor but you can’t have two master. So do you still believe the thieve went to heaven when he die? Ok so this is not enough prove and you want more cause you still don’t believe. Well neither did Thomas.
I know reprograming the mind is not a one paragraph process. So lets analize this further with more scriptures that will confirm the above. Let me ask you when Jesus die and was resurrected three days later where was He while dead? In heaven with His Father? Nope. Why when Mary Magdalene tried to hug Him what did he said?
John 2:17 He said ” Do not touch me for I HAVE NOT accended to my Father in heaven”.
Walla again! Did you catch that. So if Jesus was not in heaven neither could the thief on cross go there when he died. So then where was Jesus? In hell preaching? Nope. In paradise? Nope. Where then? Why He was simply asleep. In other words dead for that was the reason why He was born, to die for our stead. And in dying He accomplished His mission when the Father resurrected him. Thereby opening the door to the Father again for all man. Had He not die there would have been no resurrection for mankind. We would of all just die forever. At this junction lets use a little common human sense. If the dead go to heaven upon death what is the purpose for the resurrection then? The resurrection is part of the process finally taking us to heaven. But if you go straight to heaven then the Scripture can’t be trusted. Pounder on this little thought for a while.
What about King David a man after Gods own heart surely he must be in heaven. After all David had God’s Holy Spirit working in him. Did he really. The spirit of the Lord was with him not in him. Did not David tell his son Solomon on his dead bed to kill his enemies? Anyway after all these thousands of years of being dead where is he? In heaven with Elijah and Moses? Nope. Lets look at the answers from the Scriptures:
KJV Act 2:29 ” Men and bretheren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us unto this day”.
One more time walla! David’s tome is still with us today too! He has not been resurrected and gone to heaven yet. And this was written over 30 years after the death of Christ! It is a lie that you go to heaven when you die. Its time to wake up folks. It’s time to be unplugged from this heresie and get pass all this ignorants. Again were Elijah and Moses greater then Jesus that they were in heaven already, like the thief on the cross, before Christ paid for the penalty of sin? After all Christ spoke with them in a vision didn’t He and the disciples saw them. Was not Jesus the firstborn amongst the brethren? Are the authorities saying these other guys got to heaven first before Jesus?
The Scripture addresses death as being asleep. As a matter of fact every time you go to sleep at night it is a forshadowing of death. Cetain chemicals in your called melatonins put your body in a death like trance. But lets turn to the Scriptures again.:
Eccl: 9:110 ” Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest”.
You read exactly what is says. Don’t add or take away from what it says like your pastor tells you in explaining this away. When you die you have no conscious. Your spirit goes back to God from where is came. Lazarus and the rich man is a parable otherwise the above scriptures is contradictory.
Lets me deviate and lets talk about the functionality of the brain and the relevance of the spirit of a man . Hopefully we will come to a better understand of ourselves as God made us. When I speak of the relevance of the spirit of a man in relationship to the brain I say they are two parts making up one, the total essence of the person. Lets take the creation of man for example. When Adam was created he was created flesh and bones. The word used in Scriptures is “nephesh” which simply means a living creature. Adam was NOT an immortal soul as Satan has purported to this day. He was simply a livng creature as the word indicates. It was the method of creating man YHWH (God) chose. Adams corps laid on the ground with no life just there doing nothing. When YHWH breath into him the breath of life the man became a full corporal living santiene being. Adam now had existence with the capability of evolving. The two, the spirit and the physical brain need each other in order to function. They have to co-exist by design. They both make up the person whom we are. When there is damage to the brain such as a bullet wound, car accident etc, whatever part of the brain that is damage will in effect alter the ability of the spirit to relate and communicate with the outside world. The more severe the damage will impede the spirits functionality to the degree of the damage.
A person can have severe damage to the brain but if no vital areas which controls the person’s concious is affected the person may come out with his or her full personality intact but perhaps not be able to walk for example or have lost of molibity or lost of physical feeling such as pain. Another person may have severe damage to the conscious part of the brain thereby inhibiting the spirit ability to relate and have its true existence. With no hope of the brain being able to repair itself to the degee needed to have full co-existence with the spirit the spirit part remains doorman incapable of transmitting message to the body.
Lets me give you an analogy. Consider an electrical appliance. By itself with all its moving part put together it can do nothing and serves no purpose. But once you push the on bottom it becomes alive performing its functionality. If a part becomes damage in the case of a blender let say the motor makes a humming sound and the blade doesn’t turn. The electricity is not able to have it’s full impact due to the damaged part preventing its full outlet. The electricity can go no further than the damage allows it to. Likewise the spirit of a man is the power of the Creator which energizes the body to have a cognitive life. We are compose of spirit and matter by God’s own design. The spirit experiences life thru the physical body. Without it it exist in a state of unconsciousness. Again Adam laying there asleep. Like someone in a coma. Lets turn to the Scriptures again.:
Eccl: 9:110 ” Whatsoever thy hand findeth todo, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest”.
So as you read and study to know God do it with all you might while you have your breath.
We find in the new testament where it speaks of a person going to sleep when they die as I mentioned above. In Ecclisiatic it speaks of the unconscious state of a person when they die. Their memory is forgotten and they are not able to praise Yah (God). Normal sleep is somewhat the same. It is an unconscious state by which the body find its rest but not separation from the body. Dreams is the manner in which the brain reshuffles or files our daily experiences and God often communicates with us. Thru the state of sleep our physical bodies become anesthetized and incapable of full movement except for mild movement. Otherwise our bodies would react to the full experience of our dreams. Some people have such problem when they sleep walk. In a comatose state a person may exhibit action which may seem cognitive activity. However, while this may seem confusing and bewildering and even hopeful ,especially when it is happening to someone we love dearly, clearly the approach is first clinical and viewed as part of the possible recovering process. An individual in such a state will only have as much presence of mind as the physical brain allows it to.
When a person dies however, the spirit is disconnected from the physical body. It goes back to God from where is came. The spirit is unconscious and without knowledge. All personality and attribute acquired while living are stored in the spirit part of a person. Only when the spirit comes together again with the second body, the spiritual body in the resurrection will we have our conscious back and know knowledge again. We will then finally be full immortal spiritual beings unlike our physical earthly experience. So in a twinkling of the eye (a blink) we will pass from physical life to death and spiritual birth. Noah died thousand of years ago but to him it will be as fast as a blink of an eye and he will be in the next life.
ICor 15:32 “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump; for the trumphet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed”.
The absolute value then of a human being then is relevant to the absolute cognitive presence of mind of the individual. The ability of that person to have a connective relationship with the Creator. All human life is sacred in God’s eyes. But even He allows children to die of starvation and disease everyday. We cannot pounder hard enough to understand the workings of YHWH for His ways are not our ways and His thought are not our thought. One has to accept things to be in a default state a result of man having chosen the knowledge of good and evil. Which by the way, contrary to popular believe, was God’s divine plan from the begining.
Letting go of our love ones to death is not natural as some would like you to believe. It is a big sting to the human spirit. In my opinion having personally witness and experience this with my own daughter’s life using technology to prolong the existence of the body is an out of despair reaction to the inability to face separation. Such was the case as her mother refused to submit to the inevetable. A separation we will inevitability have to embrace weather we like it or not. This inability to accept separation stems from the absence of knowledge. The not knowing the ends of things, the devine plan and purpose for the why we are here to begin with. The true value of the human spirit is in its relationship to its Creator by the power of the Holy Spirit (God’s essence and power). All man are destined to the same end to become part of the God family. Having a true connection brings understanding which in turns brings continuity to life no matter the circumstances.
Being able to have eyes to see allows one to let God and let go because we realize we are not in control. That He is all knowing and loving and that His purpose is ultimately all man not just those whom we grow up to love. Seeing the big picture from God’s perspective brings undrestanding and freedom. It brings about true love from God’s point of view. Heres another passage:
Ecc. 9:5 “For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything.”
When you are dead you are dead. You are not someplace looking down at your family. Someone dead is not able to communicate with you . Demons, evil spirits are the cause for this deception. People go around believing these fakes but don’t bother to check the Scripture or from where these people get their knowledge. They don’t know or want to know the truth, that evil spirits are tricking them. If you fall into this category of people may I suggest you start reading you Bible seriously for once. You will have to argue your point with the above Scripture and not what I may be saying.
Now we turn to the famous Lazarus and the rich man theology used as a basis for eternal damnation in a burning fire. Man have we been brainwashed. I would say 95% of Christian have not taken a closer look at this famous parable used to promote hell. For if this parable is taken literally, we could punch enough holes in it to make it poof! disappear. But we will concider a few things here only. You will find this parable in Luke 16:19 / 16:31. Please read it before you continue reading.
First if this Lazarus is a godly man why is he begging for food? For in Psa. 37:25 we read:
“…Yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, NOR HIS SEED BEGGING BREAD”!
God does not let His righteous BEG!
“Now the poor man came to die and he is carried away by messengers into Abraham’s bosom.”
Impossible. This statement if taken literally is neither historical nor Scriptural. Many say this represents Lazarus in Heaven. How could Lazarus be in Heaven while his Lord was still on the earth?
“Yet now Christ has been roused from among the dead, the firstfruit of those who are reposing.” (I Cor. 15:20).
Abraham wasn’t the “firstfruit.” Lazarus wasn’t the “firstfruit.” JESUS CHRIST WAS THE FIRSTFRUIT OF THEM THAT SLEPT! The latter fruit, Paul tells us, “are [still] reposing.”
Jesus plainly said, not only had David not ascended into the heavens, but that:
“NO MAN has ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven.”(John 3:13).
Teaching that this parable is a literal historical fact makes Christ out to be a liar. When our Lord was alive on this earth giving us this parable, He said:
“…NO MAN HAS ASCENDED UP TO HEAVEN…”
“…NO MAN HAS ASCENDED UP TO HEAVEN…”
“…NO MAN HAS ASCENDED UP TO HEAVEN…!!!
Why can you believe what it says. I know why. Because it hurts your Ego and you can’t believe you’ve been dupped and are decieved. Thats why!! Your granmother, sons, daughter, sister, brother, etc, anyone close to you that have died is not in heaven at this time period. But neither are they in hell. Now that should be an eternal relief.
So how can it be said that at the same time our Lord was telling us that no man has ascended up to heaven, that Lazarus and Abraham are already up in heaven? This is not just an interesting sidelight or opinion . THIS IS ABSOLUTE, INFALLIBLE SCRIPTURAL PROOF THAT WHEN JESUS GAVE THIS PARABLE THERE WAS NO MAN NAMED LAZARUS LIVING IN HEAVEN WITH ABRAHAM OR ANYONE ELSE!! So here then is just one of the hundreds of problems with the Scriptures if we insist this parable is literal.
There are many Scriptures that tell us where a person goes when he”dies.” The Scriptures say he “returns” from where he “came.” So if he goes to Heaven, then he “came” from Heaven; if he goes to Hell, then he “came” from Hell. But Scriptures do not teach that people “RETURN” to heaven or hell when they die. Read these plain and simple verses that tell us exactly where man came from and where he goes when he dies:
“You cause man to return unto dust…” (Psa. 90:3).
“His spirit [the Hebrew word here is ruach, spirit, not neshamah, breath] goes forth, he returns to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish” (Psa. 146:3-4).
Here is irrefutable Scriptural proof that when a person dies he returns to the dust. Messengers or angels don’t take dead people anywhere when they die. If this is literal, then they would have had to carry a “dead” Lazarus into the ancient cave of a “dead” Abraham. The “resurrection” is yet future (I Thes. 4:16:18).
“…David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us unto this day…” “For David is NOT ascended into the heavens…” (Acts 2:29 & 34).
So consider: At the time Christ taught this parable, Abraham was STILL DEAD, David (a man after God’s own heart) was STILL DEAD and the Scripture specifically tells us that DavidDID NOT ASCEND INTO HEAVEN. Then to remove all doubt and speculation regarding heaven, Christ plainly stated that, “NO MAN HAS ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN!” Which part of the word “NO” is it that theologians do not understand?
“Now the rich man also died, and was entombed. And in the unseen [Gk: hades], lifting up his eyes…” (Ver. 23)
Impossible. He died, was entombed, and lifted up his eyes? Where did he get a body in hades, seeing that they just sealed his body in a tomb? Have you never heard of exhuming a body from a grave? Six days, six months, six years after death, when they open a grave, the body is still there. And it’s usually rotten and the “eyes” are decayed away.
“…was entombed…and in the unseen [hades], lifting up his eyes…”
And how could this man “literally” lift up his eyes in “hell” seeing that hell is the translation of the Greek word hades which means the UNSEEN or IMPERCEPTIBLE? To “see” one can’t be in the UNSEEN, nor can it be a place of NO perception. The parable says that he “died” and was entombed, but that he “lifts up his eyes” in hades. He can’t be literally dead and literally alive at the same time and in two different locations.
Hades is a Greek word (and is synonymous with Sheol in the Hebrew O.T.) and it has a meaning. The elements are “UN-PERCEIVED.” It can be properly translated into English as “unseen” or “imperceptible.” Now how can one “see” in the unseen?” It’s ridiculous. How can anyone have “perception” in the “imperceptible?” The dead can’t “see,” It’s a parable.
There is no consciousness in [Heb: Sheol] or [Gk: Hades](Psa. 146:4)–none. “Sheol” and “Hades” are synonymous in Scripture.
In Acts 2:27 hades is translated from the Hebrew word sheol. Look carefully at these two verses:
“His spirit [ruach] goes forth, he returns to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish” (Psa. 146-3-4).
And “…there is no works, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in sheol where you go” (Ecc.
“And it came to pass, that the beggar DIED … the rich man also DIED…” (Luke 16:22).
So from verse 22 onward, the beggar and the rich man are IN DEATH! Now Psalm 6:5
“For IN DEATH THERE IS NO REMEMBRANCE OF THEE [The LORD], in THE GRAVE who shall give thee [The LORD] thanks?”
“…being in torments…”
The Greek word translated “torments” in verse 23 is basanos.
From Friberg’s Analytical Lexicon of the Greek New Testament, we are told that basanois which is a form of the noun basanos, means, “strictly, a touchstone for testing the genuineness of metals by rubbing against it…”
In secular Greek literature this word (basanois) was used figuratively to extract information from a person by torture or punishment.
From the Greek-English Keyword Concordance we read this, torment, literally a touchstone, used to test metals for alloys, [and] then the examination of persons by torture (Page 307).
“…he is seeing Abraham from afar…”
Impossible. The man is enveloped in “flames” and can clearly identify two personalities from “afar” across a great chasm? Not with human eyes.
“And he shouting, said…”
Impossible. Proof: Psalm 31:17–“…let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave [Heb. SHEOL]. There it is! There is no talking and no shouting in sheol. If anyone can literally “shout” in hades or sheol they make God a liar.
“…send Lazarus that he should be dipping the tip of his finger in water and cooling my tongue…” “I am tormented (pained) in this flame.”
I doubt a dipping of a finger of water would someone in a flaming hell be asking for. It is impossible to be “tormneted in flame and calmly talk about it while it is happening! If his body were human so as to have a nervous system and feel pain, then of necessity that same body would burn up. It is the destruction of the skin cells that is causing the pain. Within seconds the skin no longer pains. The Rich man was emotionally pained or sorrowed by the flame (the testing and trials), not tortured, and that’s why. He wanted a drop [a symbolic drop of water] for his tongue and not a barrel of water to cool his body. Let’s not be guilty of adding to the Rich man’s woes.
The parable of Lazarus and the rich man has a more profound spiritual meaning than most would imagine. If a gentile was to touch the garment of a Yahudites (Jew) with just a finger, they would actually cut that piece off. Gentiles were concidered unclean and were not even allowed to enter the temple. Peter while praying fell into a trance and had a vision of unclean animals coming down from heaven and what happened next occured three times:
Act 10:13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter, kil, and eat.
Act 10:14 Peter answered, “I can’t do that , Lord! I’ve never eaten anything that is impure or unclean.”
Act 10:15 And again a voice came to him a second time, What things God made clean, you do not make common.”
Act 10:28 He said to them, “You understand how wrong it is for a Jewish man to associate or visit with anyone of another race. But God has shown me that I should no longer call anyone impure or unclean.”
Act 21:28 Then they began shouting, “Men of Israel, help! This is the man who teaches everyone everywhere to turn against the Jewish people, Moses’ Teachings, and this temple. He has even brought Greeks into the temple courtyard and has made this holy place unclean.”
The gentiles (other nation) recieved the little spiritual instruction they could outside the temple. So it goes to say they recieved the scabs, the left over. The parable of Lazarus and the rich man is a direct message to rebellious Yahudites of the Gentiles coming into their season of spiritualism and their rejection as a people until the fullness of the gentile. Which by the way is coming to an end very soon. YHWH is not a respector of people!
Oh I almost forgot the vision of Moses and Elijah. Yea the apostles saw them speaking to Jesus alright. But it was exactly what it said, it was a vision. Like televsion (tell- a-vision). But Christ told them “tell the vision to no one”. Are we to believe that Moses and Elijah made it to heaven before Christ paid the price of death for all men. Were Moses and Elijah then special people that they had no need of Christ sacrifice? Lets get real here. A little reasoning, with a little logic, can go a long way. Here are Christ own words to prove the point.
John 3:13 “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven”. Daraa! Do we really need a translation here?
And when will the first resurrection take place when the dead in Christ , (the righteous, the saved) will be “risen from the dead“? See they are dead not alive somewhere in heaven.
Thes 4:16 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first”. So again if the faithful in Christ go straight to beaven upon death, why in the world do they need to be resurrected to be caught up in the air with Jesus? Why I thought they were already with Him in heaven. Are you having eyes to see how clear this is, yet Christiandom twist and turns everything in the scripture to their benefit and drag you down to their pit of deciet. They use certain scriptures to make their point but never address certain ones as I have shown you, in light of their claim. Are you being free yet?
One more proof.
What about what Paul said which is claimed to mean peope go ot heaven at death. This is a good one.
“to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”
Here they go again quoting scriptures incorrectly. But the crowd ignorantly shouts “Amen, sweet Jesus” failing to follow the example of the Bureans and prove what they hear. Lets read what it really saids.
“We are confident, I say, and willing rather TO BE absent from the body, and TO BE present with the Lord.”
Concordant Literal New Testament renders it:
“…rather to be away from home out of the body and to be at home with the Lord.”
Lets read l thes 4:16-17 just one more time!
“For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and THE DEAD in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be [at home] with the Lord.”
Notice that all the DEAD in Christ rise at the SAME TIME, at His presence in the air. But, not all of the DEAD in Christ DIED AT THE SAME TIME. Hence they were NOT ‘at home with the Lord’ at the very time of their death. This is not rocket science ! Its the truth you are not used to hearing.
Jesus came for the purpose of dying, giving up His life in our stead. If it wasn’t for God the father resurrecting him back to life, Jesus would of remain dead, unconscious forever. Read your bible and prove it to yourself. Believe what it says. Jesus did not go down to “hell” literally to preach to the dead. Jesus went to the grave point blank. The only thing Jesus would have done then is a physical paintful sacrifice not more than many people had suffered as belivers during that time were at time boiled to death and eaten alive by lions and dog. No he did much more than that and thats the point of the matter. Study look up the word hell and prove the truth. I could go on forever trying to prove this point to you but, but until you put on your thinking cap and start proving things for yourself someone will come along and drag you back to ignorance. This does away with the concept of immotality Satan told Adam and Eve they had and Christianity can’t have that. It is a blow to their theology and their Ego. Your next question should be what happens then? You definetly want to know this, for this is the reason why you were born. For you may wake up the next time to face a whole lot of shame.
And , many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting (olam/eonian (not forever but for a time) ) life, and some to shame and everlasting (olam/eonian) contempt” (Dan. 12:2).
